What makes a good general contractor? The answer depends on your perspective. An owner will be looking for quality workmanship delivered on time and on budget. An architect or construction manager will need those qualities, as well as superior organization, coordination of subcontractors and the ability to adapt to field conditions, while working together to tackle construction problems and unforeseen conditions. A subcontractor will want to deal with a general who understands their trade and their needs on the job, acts as their advocate with the architect and owner and promptly processes their pay requests. D Kersey Construction strives to be a general contractor that fulfills all of these needs both for our clients and our subs. Our experienced team of construction professionals are ready to tackle any project.
Our primary focus is competitively bid, renovation projects for school districts and municipalities throughout the Chicago area. All of our projects, whether small or large, receive the same attention to detail and quality workmanship that we pride ourselves on. We were founded in 2012, but our owner and personnel have decades of construction experience. If you are looking for an experienced, dedicated general contractor at a competitive price, please consider requesting a bid from our firm.
